Brunel Museum

We're delighted to be hosted by Rotherhithe's famous Brunel Museum. Our cocktail garden is built on the rooftop of the Grand Entrance Hall to Brunel's engineering masterpiece, the Thames Tunnel- the first tunnel under a navigable river anywhere in the world. The tunnel itself is still in use today for the London Overground. However the grade-II listed Grand Entrance Hall is a spectacular sight to behold, and we are proud to offer a free guided descent into this feat of engineering with every visit to the Midnight Apothecary.

Brunel organised the world’s first underground concert party here in 1827 and we are thrilled to continue his tradition with our Christmas parties being held 'Down the Shaft'!
